Ms. Melidor has been working with Gwinnett County since 2006. Although she has a Bachelor Degree in Business, she enjoys working with young children. One of her favorite things about her job is watching kids learning something new. She is a lover of the performing arts. In her spare time, you can find her at the theater enjoying dance performances, concerts, or just hanging out with friends and family. Camp Success has allowed her to have the opportunity to learn new methods that inspire kids to achieve greatness. Overall, Ms. Melidor loves what she does, and she cannot wait to interact with your little ones.
Ms. Mayers is one of the first grade teachers. Prior to joining the Camp Success team, she lived in California, where she graduated high school. This is also where her interest in child care and early childhood education originated. As a junior and senior at Crescent Valley High School, she was a babysitter and interning at an elementary school for children with special needs. Even as she was growing up in Elizabeth, New Jersey, her love for teaching and nurturing was there, as she constantly worked with her father's Sunday school teachers at his church. By 2020, Ms. Mayers plans to graduate Georgia Gwinnett College with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. She hopes to one day have a school of her own so that she may provide the future generation of children a safe place to engage in learning that will impact them for a lifetime, in the educational, social, and psychological contexts. The children of this world are the future leaders and Ms. Mayers wants to support and guide them on their journeys.
